Dr. Larry WolfeDr. Larry Wolfe has a PhD in Resource and Environmental Management, a MSc in Community and Regional Planning, an MBA in strategic planning and organizational development, and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science (International development). He is a registered professional planner with almost four decades of experience in community planning, strategic planning, environmental and resource management, institutional development, participatory processes, and university teaching. As a community planner, he has developed plans for communities, new towns, rural areas, neighbourhoods, and commercial and institutional facilities. As a strategic planner, he facilitated the development of the strategic plan for the University of Belize, the Protected Areas Conservation Trust, and other organizations. As a natural resource and environmental planner, he has coordinated conservation plans for urban and remote areas, coastal and marine areas, forests, estuaries, flood plains, farmland, and protected areas. He has a special interest and experience in disaster mitigation, indigenous communities, and civil society. He has also been involved in developing institutional and multiple agency management frameworks for resource management, development, and conservation at the local, national, and international level. Dr. Wolfe is also an adjunct professor in natural resource management and community planning at two universities. |
